STEP 1. Create an Account or Log In
For NEW families to our MVCS Elementary/Junior High campus: 
Create an account and complete the information required. You will receive a verification email. 
 
For CURRENT families with new students to MVCS:
Do not create an account, simply Log In.  Forgot your family portal username and/or password? Contact our Business Manager, Chris Elston, at celston@mvcschool.org or 949-465-1951x142 for prompt assistance. 
 
STEP 2. Complete New Student Application 
Choose the appropriate category for your child, then complete all required fields. Submit online with payment of your non-refundable $100 Application Fee (credit/debit card only). You may save your data in process and return at any time to complete, review, submit, and/or print a copy of your application.
 
STEP 3. Submit Supplemental Documents 
Upon receipt of your online application, you will receive a conirmation email requesing the following documents. Please email to the Admissions Director at vcarter@mvcschool.org or deliver to the School Office:
  • Copy of certified birth certificate
  • Complete and up-to-date immunization records (immunization requirements)
  • Individual and family photo (can be casual from your phone, for ID purposes only)
  • Report Cards from past two years (grades 1-8)
  • Standardized Testing from past two years, if taken (grades 1-8)
  • Preschool Progress Report (Kindergarten applicants only)
  • Chancy & Bruce Kindergarten Readiness Assessment results (Kindergarten applicants only)
STEP 4. Student Assessment 
A student assessment will be scheduled by our Admissions Director once all supplemental documents are received. The assessment is approximately 30-45 minutes for grades K-3 and 45-60 minutes for grades 4-8. During the month of February, we will schedule two group assessment dates for all incoming prospective students. Incoming kindergarten students will take the 30-minute Chancy & Bruce Kindergarten Readiness Assessment at their current preschool, at MVCS on one of our two scheduled test dates, or at Chancy & Bruce's Huntington Beach location.
 
STEP 5. Family Interview 
The final step in the application process is a 30-minute family interview where our Principal or Vice Principal and the student and parents/guardians get to know one another.

ACCEPTANCE-Parents will receive an official email letter once our Admissions Review Committee meets to make a decision regarding acceptance.
